The Stonebrook Project

Helping cancer patients feel like people.

We are on a mission to increase cancer survivorship.

Education

We are on a mission to educate women about thier risk factors, mammography, thermography, genetic testing, and breast density to reduce the fear and anxiety surrounding breast health.

We are bridging the gap between breast health and a breast cancer diagnosis.

Community

We provide community through our community cancer group and our legacy community group.

Our community group meets monthly and includes those newly diagnosed, those in treatment, those thriving with cancer, survivors of cancer and their caregivers.

Our legacy group is for those who are out of treatment and are learning to navigate survivorship.

Care

Through our partners at Stonebrook Day Spa, The Palms Massage & Wellness, Northeastern Oklahoma Cancer Institute, and Oklahoma Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, we provide complementary oncology massage therapy services for those currently in treatment.

Sip & Savor UPDATE!!

The 5th Annual Sip & Savor was a huge success! From a packed house to the amazing food and wine, everyone had a great time.

During this event we were able to raise approximately $28,000 that will benefit men and women in treatment for cancer.

Thank you to our sponsors and ticket holders for supporting our event!

The Stonebrook Project

Massages are more than just self-care.

Did you know that just a few rounds of chemotherapy can cause nerve damage?

Chemotherapy patients can experience burning, numbness and shooting pains after chemo, especially in their fingers and toes.

At the Stonebrook Project, we specialize in Oncology Massage Therapy, designed to alleviate many of the common symptoms associated with chemotherapy.

Testimonial

“The first time I met Edie, she stated to me that “This was my new normal.” “This” was self-care. I was never big into that. I didn’t do mani/pedis, massages, any of it. Over a few months, the services I received at the spa brought me back to center. I didn’t feel very girly with my implants (aka foobs).

I felt like a part of my identity was lopped off in surgery. Through the services she offered, I was able come full circle back to being in the role of a wife and a mom, instead of stopping permanently in the role of mutilated breast cancer survivor.”

Our Programs

Begin your journey towards healing.

Whether you are a cancer client or know someone who could benefit from our programs, our expertly trained staff are here to guide you through your treatment and facilitate your journey towards healing.

Oncology Massage

Our Oncology Certified Licensed Massage Therapists are trained in the basics of chemotherapy and radiation as well as surgery sites and port placement. This training builds trust and a safe environment for those in cancer treatment.

Reflexology and Detox

Reflexology is offered to those cancer clients that are experiencing neuropathy due to chemotherapy treatment. Reflexology is a pressure point foot massage which increases blood flow and helps reduce pain from neuropathy. An ion foot detox removes toxins through the pores of your feet and provides increased energy, sleep and an overall well-being.

Cancer Community Group

You can’t do it alone. Whether you are newly diagnosed, currently in treatment or our a survivor of cancer, you need support. Community Cancer Group provides an space for you to be seen and heard. Meetings are once a month for dinner and conversation to help one another on their journey.

Meet Courtney.

She was diagnosed with the most aggressive form of breast cancer, triple negative.

Courtney’s mission is to share how she navigated the process of a difficult medical diagnosis and treatments through early detection due to genetic testing.

Note from the Founder

Hi, I’m Edie.

In January 2008, I was diagnosed with Stage 0 DCIS breast cancer. It was through my cancer journey of two years, that I found my new purpose, to serve and support others battling cancer. I am currently 16 years cancer free and on a mission to share the importance of cancer support, awareness and healing through The Stonebrook Project.
